Meet our new Board members!
Last Thursday, September 5th, three new administrators were elected on AASPAA Canada’s Board during the 2024 AGM. Let us introduce them to you.

Nicolas Filion
After studying literature and photography, Nicolas Filion turns to dance in 1998. In 2019, he joins FÔVE Diffusion, assuming its general direction. Boasting a wide, eclectic professional and artistic experience, Nicolas favours an empathic, committed approach to the development and administration of the arts.

Marie-Catherine LaPointe
After studying music, journalism and administration, Marie-Catherine LaPointe became involved in arts management working for several Canadian cultural organizations before founding her own company in 1995: Boulev’Art Artists’ Management.

|
 |
Danielle Laurin
Danielle is an agent, theatre artist and producer based in Tiohtia:ke/Montreal, Quebec. She is currently the Managing Producer at Imago Theatre, and is the founder of Interplay Performing Arts Agency, representing a variety of professional English theatre companies in Montreal.

AASPAA Panel at Réseau Scène’s Fall Meeting
On Wednesday, September 25th, AASPAA Canada hosts a panel and networking event apart of the program of Réseau Scène’s meeting, Parole de diffuseurs, Parole d’artistes. Réseau Scène, a network of presenters from the Greater Montreal Area, brings together its members, producers and agents for 3 days of professional development. Panelists are: Raphaël Fréchette, Marie-Catherine LaPointe & Nicolas Fillion.

Nicolas Filion

Après avoir étudié la musique, le journalisme, les langues étrangères et l’administration, Marie-Catherine LaPointe s’est engagée dans la gestion des arts en travaillant auprès de plusieurs organismes culturels canadiens avant de fonder sa propre entreprise, l’agence d’artistes Boulev’Art en 1995.

Danielle Laurin
Danielle est une agente, artiste de théâtre et productrice basée à Tiohtia:ke/Montréal, au Québec. Elle est actuellement productrice gérante au Théâtre Imago et fondatrice de l’agence Interplay, qui représente une variété de compagnies de théâtre professionnelles anglophone à Montréal.

Table ronde à la rencontre du Réseau Scène
Le mercredi 25 septembre, AASPAA Canada organise une table ronde & événement de réseautage en programmation de l’événement du Réseau Scène, Parole de diffuseurs, Parole d’artistes. Réseau Scène, réseau de diffuseurs de la grande région de Montréal, réunit ses membres, producteurs et agents pour trois jours de développement professionnel. Les panélistes sont : Raphaël Fréchette, Marie-Catherine LaPointe et Nicolas Fillion.
