Michel Bénac is a Franco-Ontarian cultural executive, booking agent, producer, and association leader with more than twenty years of experience in the Canadian music industry. As the founder and director of Voilà Concerts and LaFab Musique, he has an in-depth understanding of the realities faced by artists, agents, presenters, and professional networks in Canada and internationally.
Highly engaged in the association sector, Michel has served on several boards of directors, including the APCM, ANIM, and the Country Music Association of Ontario, where he also held vice-president roles. Best known as the lead singer of LGS, he has also built a recognized artistic career marked by numerous Trille Or awards and nominations at the JUNO Awards and ADISQ.
As Executive Director of AASPAA Canada, Michel will bring his hands-on experience, strategic vision, and commitment to sector development to serve the members and help strengthen the visibility and reach of performing arts agencies across Canada.
