Ciro Melgaço is a cultural worker, movement artist, and dance teacher who has been based in Montreal since 2021. Born in Brazil, he had his first contact with dance through Brazilian folklore and later decided to expand his dance studies to ballet and contemporary dance. While pursuing a degree in Economics, he took part in several dance groups and companies, as well as independent projects.
Currently, Ciro holds two part-time positions, responsible for administrative management at Art Circulation and executive assistant – administrative profile at MAYDAY. By combining his organizational, financial, and artistic skills, he seeks to become even more involved in helping the arts community thrive.
